Life In Lockdown

 

As life is on halt

and it's none other than human's fault

We all desire 

normal life would return

because all our patience 

has already been burned 

Well life is hard

no one does deny

life is simple

is just a convenient lie

But life in lockdown

isn't so unpleasant 

people think it is irritating

but to be honest it isn't

So many things people have discovered

An unfinished painting or a buried passion unearthed

A lost piano song or chords of a guitar

the truth about who truly we are 

Many realisations have dawned on us

how important to us are the ones who we love

it is time for us to respect

their support for us all above

Now people order 

only what they required

We are using resources so judiciously

and small efforts by us are being admired

Look at the brighter side

we still get what we need

there are so many out there

who have no money for themselves to feed

Let us appreciate 

what we have got

we are fortunate

but forever we may not
